Metalcess provides gold electrorefining solution for treating crude gold from gold ore chlorination process, silver-gold powder from silver ER and crude gold jewelry. Gold material are melt and cast into gold anode for electro-refining to obtain high purity gold  (Au≥99.99%) .

Gold electro-refining is taken place in FRPP electrolysis cell. Crude gold casting plate is used as anode while high purity gold plate is used as cathode. Gold ER uses chloride solution and free hydrochloric acid as electrolyte. Particularly, the gold anode is folded in a cloth bag in operation in order to collect anode slime and avoid contamination to gold cathode. After certain plating period, the gold cathode is replaced by new cathode plate. The electro-refined gold cathode is melt and cast into high purity gold ingot.
