Zinc ingot casting line is auxiliary equipment for zinc melting furnace to cast zinc liquid to standard zinc ingot. The zinc ingot casting machine is mainly composed of constant-volume pouring ladle, linear casting mold conveyor, ingot de-molding device, water spraying cooling conveyor, ingot-stacking robot machine, ingot stack conveyor, automatic bundler, weighing and ink-printing devices, and automatic control system.
From the zinc cathode melting furnace, zinc liquid is transferred by the constant-volume pouring ladle to the ingot casting machine and molded into zinc ingot. In the casting machine, zinc liquid is cooled by the forced air flow on the surface and chilled by the water from the mold bottom. It guarantees a good surface quality of the zinc ingot.
At the end of casting machine, the solidified zinc ingot is turned over by gravity for demolding, and then falls onto the water spraying cooling conveyor to have the temperature drop from 250°C to 60°C. When zinc ingots arrive at the grabbing station, the optoelectronic monitor transfers signal to the robot which takes two zinc ingots at one time and sends them to stacking station in sequence.
When a stack of ingots is ready, the conveyor transfers the stack to bundling weighed and get production information printed on the ingot surface, ready for transportation and sale.
