An insider revealed that CSPT (China Smelter Purchase Team) held a meeting in Shanghai on which the team accepts that the TC/RCs will be 53 USD/ ton (5.3 cents per pound) in the 1^st quarter of 2021.

It will be 8.6% drop compared with the 4^th quarter of 2020, which was 58 USD/ ton (5.38cents per pound). 

In 1^st quarter of 2019, TC/RCs accepted by the CSPT was 67 USD/ ton (6.7 cents per pound).

It is noticed that the TC/RCs price of China Smelter keeps dropping for consecutive 6 years, revealing the background that the sliding copper concentrate supply in contrast to the growing capacity of China smelters.
