Metal distillation is the thermodynamics process using the difference of boiling points of metal alloy to separate them from each other. Usually, the metal of low boiling points is evaporated from the liquid alloy and later the vapor is condensed in a separate container. In a distillation system, by setting up condensing elements along the evaporation passage, the metal of high boiling point gets condensed before taking away by the vapor. Consequently, low boiling point metal are purified.
