Zinc cathode melting is performed by industrial power frequency cored induction furnace. The furnace is featured with high thermal efficiency, fast heating speed, low metal loss, easy operation and low production cost.
Description
The furnace is made up of furnace body and inductors. The furnace body includes furnace shell, frame and refractory lining, common service life 5 years. The inductor is composed of magnet yoke, induction coil, metal channel, refractory
lining of melting channel. The lifetime of inductors determines the maintenance interval of an induction furnace.
Metalcess focuses on how to prolong the service lifetime of inductors.
We optimized melting channel. The two inductors are arranged in serial connection, forming into W-shape melting channel. In the middle melting channel, the confluence of molten zinc encourages faster flowrate and eliminates local overheat.
Applying special refractory material nonsticking to zinc . The refractory material can form a compact sintered layer to prevent the penetration of zinc.
In addition, we assure high furnace operation rate. The inductors can be replaced easily while withholding zinc liquid in the furnace. No shutdown is required during inductor maintenance.
Characteristics
1. Single inductor with high power of 1,000 kW, less-complicated design with less inductor holes on the furnace body, achieving favorable rigidity, reducing the possibility of cracking and making it more convenient for slag-removal operation.
2. Electricity consumption per ton zinc melting is less than 110KW.
